HORROR MOVIES REVIEW

Zombieworld (2015)
Zombieworld (2015) is an American anthologyhorror movie that is 100 minutes long with 11 segments. I was bored throughout most of the segments and felt I could have used my time elsewhere as it is time that I cannot get back. I would not recommend anyone to see this movie unless you want to fast forward to the good parts but then again it would be a waste of money. The 11 segments are linked together to form a story about the zombie invasion. The humans are fighting to save their lives as the zombies are rising and soon might outnumber them. The military is trying to rid the world of zombies and kills innocent non-zombie humans as well.

Dark Times by directors Jared Marshall and Peter Horn

Dark Times was meant to be humorous in some strange way as one of the survivors is dressed in a Santa Claus outfit. This segment tried very hard to be funny, but I did not laugh for a second, so it was a total fail for me.

Fist of Jesus by directors Jesse Baget (Mischief Night (2013), Cellmates (2011)) and Adrián Cardona

This segment is one of the best if not thee best segment, and that is because of its funny horror story about the New Testament. This segment might be very offensive to people that does not like religious humor in movies. This segment went back in time and showed us how it began with Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was the very first zombie, and now it is up to Jesus and Judas to conquer the zombies.

How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse by director Vedran Marjanovic Wekster

How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse was pointless in so many ways. I think it is kind of too late to teach the humans how to survive. It was daunting that after each segment, it tells us how to survive the zombies.

Dead Stop by director Tommy Woodard

Dead Stop was a confusing trip as the news anchor Marvin Gloatt (Bill Oberst Jr.) claims it takes place next to the news station in California, but the set is in Utah - Well I guess it is not that far off - goof? Yes, it was!! By the way, Marvin was bitten by a zombie and pledges to keep broadcasting until he turns into one of the flesh-hungry zombies.

Brutal Relax by directors Rafa Dengrá and Adrián Cardona

I kind of like this segment as it was about a makeup artist that is fascinated by zombie blood that glows in the dark.
