Wild in Blue is currently at Cannes looking for buyers, and it will be a brave company who picks this up! Not to say it doesn’t look absolutely stunning, but there could be a few issues in terms of content upon releasing the film.
The film is directed by first time director Matthew Berkowitz, and the first trailer is shocking, suspenseful and stunning. The trailer delivers enough intrigue, violence, sex and graphic content to keep extreme cinema fans happy, but also has plenty of emotional content to please fans of world cinema, and cinema with bravery. I have to admit that after seeing the trailer for Wild in Blue, I am totally hooked, and I really have to see this superb looking film right away!
Matthew Berkowitz writes and directs Wild in Blue, and the cast includes Frank Cermak Jr, Charlotte Ellen Price, Steve Railsback, Daveigh Chase and Karen Black.
Synopsis:
A story about a madman with a movie camera, that thinks he’s smarter than you. He’s a narcissist. He’s a nihilist, a sexual sadist and killer of innocent women. His name is Charlie, and this is his world: a place of evil, violence and perversion, where only his camera tells the truth. He has set out to make an honest film – no lies whatsoever – and he is doing it all for you.
