Franklin’s murder trial is fast becoming L.A.’s serial-killer circus. A
new story published in LA Weekly delves
into the delaying tactics and the never-ending pre-trial hearings that
are hindering the start of a trial that promises to be every bit as
controversial as the preceding ‘multi-decade’ and racially charged serial murder investigation. Police now suspect that Franklin killed at least six additional women, making the loss of life 16.
Franklin’s trail is scheduled to begin on July 15th but many believe that the continuing pre-trial delays will push commencement toward and into 2015.
