Five years have passed since the malevolent Freddy Krueger was sent back into the bowels of Hell where he could no longer murder teen-aged dreamers. Life on Elm Street goes back to normal, until a new family moves into Freddy's house. They have a teen-aged boy and it isn't long before Freddy begins a new reign of terror.
