n the process of making a low-budget porn movie, the actors involved turn into zombies and trap the remaining members of the cast and crew inside the make-shift studio. So much for the plot. Now, while I honestly wasn't expecting much from a film with the title of "Porn Star Zombies", I had hoped for something a little sexy or witty. Instead, what I got was sleazy and vulgar. The acting was terrible, the camera shots were extremely basic, the zombies looked ridiculous and the dialogue was one filthy one-liner after the other. And while some might find vocabulary of this sort hilarious, I thought it was all rather dull and boring. Now don't get me wrong, there are some people who love this type of crude humor. But I'm not one of them. In any case, if you like films that cater to the "least common denominator" then this is something you really need to watch. Otherwise it's just a waste of time and you should probably avoid it like the plague.

Plot-Just another day on a porno shoot, or so they thought. On this day, a zombie outbreak is happening and the cast and crew must find a way to stop them and figure out what is causing them to turn. Shot in black and white with a 55 minute running time.

Review-This is what people will look back on in a few years and call a ” cult classic”. Now, before you read too much into that first statement, I will say the film has a lot of flaws, but you know what for what it was and tried to accomplish, I thought it was fun. This is from R Squared Films so you know the porn will be soft core. I learned in this hour, a zombie can drive a car, a zombie can have a period, ( that scene for me was pretty cool even for a low budget indie..kudos for pulling that off) that you can kill a zombie with a enema, and most of all, you do not have to be bitten to turn..you can have sex with someone who is infected and you both will eventually turn. I wonder if George Romero when he made Night of the Living Dead, ever thought we would take zombies into these directions that people are going these days? Zombies are supposed to be scary, in this film they are more of a comedy prop. The zombies were poorly done, but you almost know going into a film like this with the limitations it has, that you were not going to get Walking Dead, which was fine with me. Cause the humor and dialogue made up for what this film lacked in make up and effects. Another selling point was some of the gore effects, I mentioned early the period, but there is a blow job scene that gets pretty gross when she becomes a zombie during sex. The dialogue was top notch for a low budget indie but think about it they are trying to act in a porn shoot, it may not be such a compliment. There is this scene that the guy asks his wife for sex, she says that excuse some of us hear. ” well I am on my period right now”..so he says ” hey is your mouth bleeding”. I have yet to try that line, so unsure if it works..but now that I have seen this film and some of the stuff that happens to penises, I may not worry about using that line so much.

They say it takes a lifetime to create your first film or cd, I think Keith Emerson should be proud somewhat. I know people will nit pick this film to death, and trust me I did the same a million times to a million films including this one. But, from the characters to the script, and the background music…I could overlook some of the flaws. This is no masterpiece or the changing of a genre film. But, for what it was and what it offered, it did not bore me and had me laughing at some scenes. Where has this concept been all my life? Come on, porn star zombies…and you know there will be some cute girls in this film..And another selling point..kudos to the porn director Baxter. He stole the scenes he was in, just for being so realistic, and just so oddly funny in his delivery. All in all, every director or for that matter star has to start somewhere, why not this film? This film has drunken party crowd written all over it. I would have loved to see this with a crowd at a midnight show and see how they would take a film like this. This is definitely not for everyone, but if you are into national lampoon and like that smart at times, dumbed down at others brand of humor..this film is not bad. i just figured out after liking this film.. I have some serious issues and thank god I am not alone cause Keith has them clearly as well.
