Grave Encounters

If you like sy fy's Ghost hunters. You would like Grave Encounters. The movie has its thriller ghost story and ghost hunters/busters theme. It was boring start but then after you learn the characters. The story gets interesting and some gets on the edge of there seats. I like the fact you do not get the usual Hollywood story in Grave Encounters.
Grave Encounters is a 2011 Canadian-American supernatural horror film shot in found footage. The footage follows the crew of l paranormal reality television program who lock themselves in a haunted psychiatric hospital in search of evidence of paranormal activity as they shoot what ends up becoming their final episode. Written and directed by The Vicious Brothers (Collin Minihan and Stuart Ortiz), the footage premiered on April 22, 2011 at the Tribeca Film Festival to favorable reviews. The film was released on August 25, 2011 in select theaters using the Eventful Demand It and Video On Demand via Comcast. The footage premiered internationally in Italy via distributor Eagle Pictures under the title ESP Fenomeni Paranormalion June 1, 2011. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the footage has received a cult following[1] and spawned a sequel in 2012. This movie is taken in a real life like scenario, but is mostly fictional. The name of the hospital is based on Collingwood Stockade, a mental institute in Australia. Review from Wikipedia
